Giznova AI Explorer Methodology

Giznova AI Explorer rankings are based on publicly available device specifications and AI platform information.

How Rankings Are Calculated

Data Sources

AI Explorer aggregates information from publicly available sources, including device manufacturers, chipset vendors, official technical documentation, developer resources, product announcements, benchmark disclosures, and independent industry research.

While many specifications are sourced directly from official vendor materials, some AI performance metrics may be compiled, estimated, or cross-referenced from multiple publicly available sources when complete information is not disclosed by manufacturers.

We regularly review and update our database as new information becomes available.

Understanding TOPS Ratings

TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second) is a commonly used metric that measures the theoretical AI processing capability of a Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

While TOPS can be useful for comparing AI hardware, it does not fully represent real-world AI performance. Factors such as memory bandwidth, software optimization, thermal limits, model architecture, and operating system integration can significantly impact actual AI workloads.

For this reason, AI Explorer rankings should be used as a comparative reference rather than a direct measure of real-world AI performance.
