Editorial Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
AI Explorer is a service and property of Giznova. This policy outlines the editorial standards that govern how we research, verify, and present AI device information.
1. Our Mission
AI Explorer helps users explore AI-enabled consumer devices, compare AI capabilities, explain AI features, and provide research-based information so users can make better-informed decisions. We are committed to education, transparency, and independence.
2. Independent Research
All editorial content is produced independently by the Giznova team. Research is driven by data, documentation, and verification — not by advertiser or manufacturer relationships.
- We do not accept payment for favorable rankings or reviews.
- We do not allow manufacturers to edit or approve our editorial content.
- Research priorities are set based on public interest and data availability.
3. Information Sources
We rely on multiple source categories:
- Vendor documentation: official manufacturer specifications, datasheets, whitepapers, press releases, and developer portals.
- Public technical documentation: chipset vendor documentation (e.g., Qualcomm, MediaTek, ARM), platform developer guides, and open standards.
- Independent public sources: credible industry publications, benchmark disclosures, and public technical disclosures.
- Direct testing and verification: where possible, we verify claims against actual device behavior and public benchmarks.
4. Research Confidence
Not all data is equally certain. We label research coverage to indicate confidence:
- High confidence: data confirmed through multiple authoritative sources, including official manufacturer or chipset documentation.
- Medium confidence: data supported by credible public sources but not fully confirmed by official vendor documentation.
- Low confidence: limited or conflicting sources; estimates based on related platforms or generation trends.
- Research Pending: standardized research has not yet been completed or verified for the device or capability.
When research coverage is incomplete or low-confidence, we aim to say so explicitly rather than present speculation as fact.
5. Research Pending Status
Research Pending indicates that standardized AI capability research for a specific device or feature has not yet been completed. This may mean:
- The device was recently released and public documentation is still emerging.
- Manufacturer specifications have not been fully disclosed.
- Our research pipeline has not yet reached this device.
Research Pending content should not be interpreted as an absence of features, but as incomplete verification.
6. No Paid Rankings
AI Explorer rankings are generated through standardized, documented methodologies based on verifiable data. Ranking positions are not sold, brokered, or influenced by payment.
Editorial Standard: If a ranking strategy or device score appears inconsistent with documented methodology, it should be treated as a bug or data issue, not an editorial decision.
7. Sponsored Content Policy
Currently, AI Explorer does not publish sponsored content. If sponsored content is introduced in the future:
- It will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement."
- It will be visually distinguished from editorial content.
- It will not be included in rankings or comparison algorithms.
- This policy will be updated with sponsorship terms and disclosure methods.
8. Correction Policy
We strive for accuracy. If an error is identified:
- We will correct it promptly and visibly where possible.
- Material corrections will include a date note or correction notice.
- If you spot an error, please contact us at info@giznova.in or via our Contact page.
9. Transparency
We aim to be transparent about:
- How data is collected and scored (see AI Research Methodology).
- When data is estimated or inferred rather than directly verified.
- Limitations of our research and potential conflicts of interest.
10. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions at AI Explorer are made independently. No advertiser, sponsor, manufacturer, or partner has the right to influence:
- Which devices are included in rankings.
- How devices are scored or compared.
- What features are highlighted or omitted.
- The wording or conclusions of research.
11. Feedback
We welcome feedback on our editorial standards. If you have concerns about our research or presentation, please reach out to us at info@giznova.in or via our Contact page.
