How It Works

AI Writing leverages HyperOS AI's on-device language models to generate and refine text based on user prompts. The feature allows users to rewrite, expand, or shorten text content while maintaining the original tone and intent. Available across HyperOS AI and Lenovo AI Now platforms.

Everyday Use Cases

• Rewrite an email to sound more professional
• Expand a short note into a detailed message
• Shorten a long paragraph
• Adjust tone for formal or casual communication

User Workflow

• Select text in any supported app
• Tap the AI Writing icon or use the floating toolbar
• Choose an action: Rewrite, Expand, Shorten, or Tone Adjust
• Review AI-generated suggestion
• Tap to accept or edit

AI Processing Flow

On-device language model processes text using the NPU. No data leaves the device for core writing tasks

Known Limitations
