How It Works

AI Portrait Glow uses OnePlus AI's on-device computer vision models to apply artistic lighting effects to portrait photos. The feature detects facial features and skin tones, then applies realistic lighting and glow effects such as golden hour lighting, soft glow, and cinematic lighting. It enhances portrait photos with professional-quality effects without manual editing.

User Workflow

• Take or select a portrait photo in Gallery on a OnePlus device
• Tap the AI Portrait Glow button
• Choose a lighting effect preset
• AI applies the effect with automatic face detection
• Adjust intensity if needed
• Save the enhanced photo

AI Processing Flow

On-device computer vision model detects faces and skin tones, estimates 3D face geometry, and applies lighting effects using the NPU. Processing is local for privacy.
