Why It Exists
Users receive too many notifications throughout the day, leading to distraction and notification fatigue. Notification Summaries condenses non-urgent information into a readable digest, allowing users to stay informed without constant interruption.
How It Works
Notification Summaries uses Apple Intelligence to intelligently group, summarize, and present incoming notifications that are not immediately urgent. The feature analyzes notification content, app importance, and user behavior patterns to determine which notifications can be bundled and summarized into a digest. Summaries are delivered at scheduled intervals, reducing notification fatigue while ensuring important content is not missed. All analysis happens on-device, with no notification content sent to Apple servers.

AI Processing Flow
