Why It Exists
Low-resolution content looks poor on high-resolution displays. AI Upscale enhances existing content to take full advantage of modern high-resolution screens, improving the viewing experience without requiring the original high-resolution source.
How It Works
AI Upscale uses MagicOS AI's on-device deep learning models to increase the resolution of videos and photos. The feature applies super-resolution techniques to upscale content from lower resolutions to higher resolutions while preserving or enhancing detail. It can upscale photos up to 4K and videos to support higher-quality display output on Honor's high-resolution screens.

AI Processing Flow
