Why It Exists

Switching between apps and manually transferring data is tedious. Magic Portal provides an intelligent, context-aware assistant that understands what is on screen and offers relevant actions, streamlining multitasking and productivity.

How It Works

Magic Portal is MagicOS AI's intelligent cross-application interaction system. It uses on-device AI models to understand screen content, recognize user intent, and provide context-aware actions across apps. Users can drag content between apps, trigger AI-powered workflows, and access relevant tools based on what is currently displayed on screen.

User Workflow

• Enable Magic Portal in Settings
• Perform the portal gesture on any screen content
• AI analyzes the content and suggests relevant actions
• Select a target app or AI action
• Content is transferred and the action is performed

AI Processing Flow

On-device AI model analyzes screen content, recognizes objects and text, understands context, and matches to available apps and actions. Processing is primarily local for privacy.

Performance Notes

Content analysis and suggestion generation is near-real-time with minimal latency. Best performance on devices with dedicated NPU. Privacy is maintained as screen analysis is on-device.
