AI Performance
Lenovo AI Performance uses AI-powered optimization to enhance CPU, GPU, and memory performance on Lenovo AI Now devices with predictive NPU processing.
Why It Exists
Users need maximum performance when needed and battery efficiency when not, without manually switching between performance modes.
How It Works
Lenovo AI Performance is an AI-powered performance optimization system for Lenovo AI Now PCs. Using the device's NPU, the system predicts workload demands and dynamically allocates CPU, GPU, and memory resources for optimal performance. The AI can boost performance during gaming or content creation, conserve battery during light tasks, and prevent thermal throttling through proactive cooling.
Everyday Use Cases
- Gaming performance
- Content creation
- CPU optimization
- GPU boosting
- Memory management
- Thermal prevention
- Mode switching
- Game detection
User Workflow
- System detects active application or game
- AI assesses resource requirements
- Performance mode is automatically selected
- Resources are allocated via NPU optimization
- Thermal monitoring prevents overheating
AI Processing Flow
Application and workload data are analyzed by on-device NPU models. Resource allocation adjusts CPU frequency, GPU clocks, and memory bandwidth in real-time. Thermal sensors feed data to cooling algorithms. User preferences are learned over time. All processing is on-device without cloud dependency.
