How It Works

Text Bridge uses OCR and neural machine translation to detect and translate text within images, screenshots, and photos. The feature can process text in multiple languages and overlays the translated text directly on the image or displays it as a separate layer.

User Workflow

• Open Gallery app and select an image
• Tap the Text Bridge (AI Translate) button
• Select source and target languages

AI Processing Flow

On-device OCR for text detection, then cloud-based neural machine translation for accuracy. Text detection is on-device, complex translations may use cloud processing.
