Dual Recording
Samsung Galaxy Dual Recording captures simultaneous front and rear camera video with Galaxy AI-powered synchronization and intelligent scene composition.
Why It Exists
Content creators, vloggers, and users need to record reactions and scenes simultaneously without external equipment or multiple takes.
How It Works
Galaxy Dual Recording enables users to record video from both the front and rear cameras simultaneously, creating a split-screen or picture-in-picture effect. Galaxy AI enhances the recording by synchronizing audio from both sources, optimizing focus and exposure dynamically, and providing intelligent scene composition. The system handles motion stabilization, automatic framing adjustments, and audio mixing to produce professional-quality dual perspective video.
Everyday Use Cases
- Vlogging
- Reaction recording
- Tutorial creation
- Interview capture
- Event documentation
- Behind-the-scenes content
User Workflow
- User opens Dual Recording mode in the Camera app
- Both cameras activate simultaneously
- AI synchronizes audio and video streams
- System optimizes framing for both perspectives
- Video is recorded with real-time preview
AI Processing Flow
Audio and video from both cameras are captured and processed by the on-device NPU. Audio mixing uses AI to balance voice levels between front and rear microphones. Video synchronization eliminates drift between the two streams. Scene optimization adjusts exposure and focus for both cameras. Motion stabilization applies to each stream independently. All processing is real-time on the NPU.
Inputs / Outputs
Inputs:
- Front camera video
- Rear camera video
- Dual audio streams
- Motion sensor data
- Focus and exposure settings
Outputs:
